Reiner Knizia's The Confrontation Coming to iPad Next Year
I don't think I'd get many arguments if I said that Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation is one of the best 2-player games ever. It's certainly one of mine and, luckily, next year we'll be able to play it on our iPads.

Offworld Games is bringing Reiner Knizia's Confrontation to both PC/Mac in February with an iPad version following shortly thereafter. You'll notice that it's just "the Confrontation" without the Lord of the Rings attached. Don't worry, it's still the same game, just the shiny bits have been replaced with a bit more generic ones.

The game will have single player vs. AI as well as online asynchronous multiplayer.
